The great and the good (and the not so good!) of local Television in Yorkshire gathered at the Queens hotel in Leeds for the Royal Television society Yorkshire awards. If you're from around these parts, see which faces you recognise.

In getting video footage of the recently built class A1 steam train Tornado in her new garter blue livery, an hour and a half's wait meant I also got footage of several other trains at Copmanthorpe near York, on the east coast main line. Tornado was pulling the Elizabethan train from London to Edinburgh.

A new festival for me, but already I like it. Long Division festival in Wakefield; held at several venues. Today I've photographed Ed Tudor Pole, Matthew Boulter, Eagulls, State of Georgia, Ghostpoet and O'Messy Life. Glad I had my earplugs in my bag!

The winner of the George gold award at GFW was Lauren Smith from Edinburgh, and the winner of the womens wear award was Hannah Williams of UCA Epsom.
