The Institute of Physics held a physics of football day for 4 schools at Arsenal's Emirates stadium. Part of the day involved a stadium tour, which took in the home dressing room; palatial compared to Bradford City's away team dressing room. Now I understand why, after being defeated by City in the league cup, Arsene Wenger insisted his players get straight on the coach & go back for a shower :-)

The Ilkley fundraising committee of Macmillan cancer support held their annual fashion show at the Craiglands hotel, Ilkley.

The NSPCC Yorkshire team held their volunteer conference at the St. George's centre, Leeds.
