Paul Harness

 The Bradford festival choral society and the Rothwell temperance band held their Christmas carol concert in Price hall, Bradford grammar school. My Mum was a singer in the society for many years when I was a child, and BGS was my old school; two strong connections.

 The 6th annual Hopes & dreams ball in aid of Macmillan cancer support was held at York racecourse.

  The Jordan Sinnott foundation trust held their ball at the Queen's hotel, Leeds.

  The theme of the retail awards was shop local at Londis in Chesterfield.

  The Institute of chartered accountants in England & Wales (West Yorkshire & York) held an event to welcome new members at Aspire, Leeds.

  Ruby Wax came to entertain but also help raise money for Leeds Mind, the ICAEW West Yorkshire & York president's chosen charity, at the annual dinner at Aspire, Leeds.
