Good all round
The good all round awards were presented by Christine Talbot of ITV Yorkshire at the National media museum, Bradford. Cancer support Bradford & Airedale were one of the many charities there.
Ring award
The British private equity & venture capital association present the 2013 award to Ring / Volvox and Hollybank trust (who also won the 2012 award).
White Rose awards
The White Rose awards, organised by Welcome to Yorkshire, were held at New Dock hall (the new name for the old Savile's hall) at the Royal Armouries, Leeds. With le grand depart happening in Yorkshire next year, there were several professional cyclists (including the Downing brothers, Russ & Dean) and Sir Rodney Walker (chairman) in attendance.
A cracker
This year's Firecracker ball at Rudding Park hotel was Bollywood themed. It's held every year in aid of Barnardo's . VIPs included Ben de Lisi and UB40.
A party with a wedding thrown in!
Chris and Tracy originally planned a joint birthday party, but then decided to get married the same day too, with just a fortnight to plan it. The wedding was at Aspire, Leeds (previously the Yorkshire Penny Bank head office), and the party at the Leeds club was event managed by Wellpleased events with AV Matrix providing audio visual services.
