White Rose awards

The White Rose awards, organised by Welcome to Yorkshire, were held at New Dock hall (the new name for the old Savile's hall) at the Royal Armouries, Leeds. With le grand depart happening in Yorkshire next year, there were several professional cyclists (including the Downing brothers, Russ & Dean) and Sir Rodney Walker (chairman) in attendance.

 Bradford festival choral society held a concert at the "spiritual home" of St. George's hall In Bradford, along with the Yorkshire symphony orchestra. Pieces performed included Zadok the priest and Mozart's requiem.
