Pete Waterman (he of Stock, Aitken & Waterman fame) was main guest at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway inaugural ball held at the National Railway Museum, York. He is their patron.
Scout awards again
Central Yorkshire Scouts held their annual top awards event at the Bridge community centre, Leeds. The Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire presented the Queen's and King's Scout awards.
