Nick Clegg DOESN'T have to announce a cut!

Nick Clegg, deputy prime minister, for once not having to announce a cut.

Instead some good news; the official opening of Embrace, the children's transport service.

Mind you, what a difference a year makes; last time I photographed him at the Leeds & N Yorks chamber of commerce dinner, he arrived on his own and had time to chat to everyone. Now there's a trail of policemen arriving ahead of him, he arrives with several men with "bulging armpits" and he's whisked off without even having chance to have a butty! At least he got a cuppa.
