James Martin opens his new restaurant, the Leeds Kitchen, at Alea Casino at Clarence Dock, Leeds.

His first new restaurant opening in 10 years, in his home county.

He will be working there every night, except Fridays (he presents a live Saturday TV show).

 Bradford festival choral society held a concert at the "spiritual home" of St. George's hall In Bradford, along with the Yorkshire symphony orchestra. Pieces performed included Zadok the priest and Mozart's requiem.
