The Queen and Prince Philip come to Methley

Redrow Homes Yorkshire gave a prize of a diamond jubilee party which was held at the Methley comminity centre. There was also the scarecrow festival going on, so the Queen and Prince Philip were there too.

 Bradford festival choral society held a concert at the "spiritual home" of St. George's hall In Bradford, along with the Yorkshire symphony orchestra. Pieces performed included Zadok the priest and Mozart's requiem.
