North Riding Dales licensed victuallers association 50th ball at Ripon Spa hotel saw both Simon (T & R Theakston) and Paul (Black Sheep brewery) at the same event; they both have sponsored it in past years. Free beer and I was driving.

 Bradford festival choral society held a concert at the "spiritual home" of St. George's hall In Bradford, along with the Yorkshire symphony orchestra. Pieces performed included Zadok the priest and Mozart's requiem.
