Three weddings and a fashion show
On the hottest weekend of the year so far, when my air conditioning in my car has packed up, I have covered 3 weddings and 1 fashion show.
This is the first wedding at Fountains Abbey, near Ripon.
Accountants' dinner
The Sheffield & district society of accountants held their annual dinner at Cutlers' hall. The guest speaker was Paul "the Sinnerman" Sinha (of ITV the Chase fame). VIPs included the ICAEW president, the deputy Lord-lieutenant, the High Sherriff, the master Cutler and several local ICAEW presidents.
