Posh Christmas

The NSPCC held their Christmas fair at Castle Howard, this time over 3 days. There was plenty going on, lots of stalls and it also gave me chance to meet the Honorable Simon Howard and Nick Hewer (BBC 1's Apprentice & Channel 4's Countdown).
I also got chance to see bits of the building not open to the public, including the Brideshead revisited rooms.

 The Sheffield & district society of accountants held their annual dinner at Cutlers' hall. The guest speaker was Paul "the Sinnerman" Sinha (of ITV the Chase fame). VIPs included the ICAEW president, the deputy Lord-lieutenant, the High Sherriff, the master Cutler and several local ICAEW presidents.

 Bradford festival choral society held a concert at the "spiritual home" of St. George's hall In Bradford, along with the Yorkshire symphony orchestra. Pieces performed included Zadok the priest and Mozart's requiem.
