The Firecracker ball in aid of Barnardo's at Rudding Park hotel last night. The theme was the wizard of Oz, with Dorothy being played by Amy Diamond and the MC being Helen Lederer.

 Bradford festival choral society held a concert at the "spiritual home" of St. George's hall In Bradford, along with the Yorkshire symphony orchestra. Pieces performed included Zadok the priest and Mozart's requiem.
